What I see for Unforeseen

By Kate Dominguez

I'm not your run of the mill photographer, and doing things differently is a way to show my creativity to the world. As someone who grew up in the 90's and having to develop photos, I cherish making memories. When my camera was given to me by chance, I remember not being able to delete photos. It was the thought of "what if," that made its way into my mind. What if I don't get a photo like this again? Sitting in my office I have a box of photos, some blurry, some too dark or too bright, some embarrassing, okay a lot of them embarrassing, but most importantly they all hold a memory I get to relive. How many of us can say we have authentic photos of important moments in our life that are just that, authentically real. My goal is to make that happen, with less embarrassment, I promise. I want my clients to open their gallery and just bask in the moments. I see couples in their pj's with glasses of wine, going through the pictures, laughing, loving, and cherishing each other more. I see family reunions showing slide shows of core memories, where laughter turns to tears of happiness. From families growing, to couples starting their journey, entrepreneurs fulfilling their dreams, graduates crushing their goals, and everything else in between. My business is more than just me holding a camera, it's the person beyond the lens feeling seen in ways you would never expect.
